Little snippet in Weidlers article today. Apparently after a review head office has told the club Fox should have received a penalty when he was taken out. Supposedly he has a reputation amongst the refs for milking penalties. What a shit go. We would have had Burton lining up a kick to win, right in front 40 out.

Whats the point coming out after its too late, doesn't help but cause more aggravation.

The way they fix the issues is to treat all the teams and games the same but we all know that being consistent is at the bottom of their lists.

Well it has bitten him on the arse.

Maybe it will make him think about milking penalties.

He did the same shit during Origin & it was a miracle recovery when penalty wasn't forthcoming.

to be fair he does milk constantly, it’s like the boy who cried wolf
Maybe, but methinks the one last week was pretty cut and dried. The Roosters player hung out his arm and knocked JAC off balance. Plenty of comments about it immediately after and the only one who does not see it is the ref. Unfortunately once again we see an admission of error after the event...too little too late....Don't forget the line ball forward pass happened not long before that as well...

Should never have got to a position where a penalty milk is the way we need to win.

We threw the game away with dud passages of play.

This is the problem with refs doing "homework". As soon as they expect a player to behave a certain way, they start seeing that behaviour even if it isn't the case. Refs should be encouraged to officiated based on what they see in front of them, and ignore the chatter.

Totally agree...you see the infringement...you penalise it, not analyse it. The system stinks terribly.

Our own mistakes don't remove the responsibility on the officials to uphold the rules. If the opposing team takes out one of our players illegally, it should count as dumb play by them and penalised.
