I was wondering if anyone is accustom to the extent of josh Morris’ injury. The collision didn’t look good, and if he is out it’s a big loss for us.

Love the guy been one of our best for years.

Speaking of a replacement I would say pay will give olive a call up. I pray he can put in a performance so Montoya can exit the side.
Lachie Lewis on the bench as xfactor and I’m liking Jayden okunbor as a centre his too strong.

I don’t mind Mbye to center but we better not be going back to Hoppa at fullback. Zero pace. Give Holland a crack he’s changed his body and he is playing like he belongs in FG.

Really disappointed that Josh Morris is being moved on after all he’s done at the club. Deserves to retire a bulldog but once again Des Dib and the thing strike again.

As expected reports are that Josh Morris has avoided injury to his ACL. Likely other ligament damage (likely LCL) but no word yet, will visit specialist tomorrow. Interestingly Morris does not have a PCL in either knee after rupturing them earlier in his career.

Thats what I want and many here want. Unfortunately I doubt that will happen for a while as those two are far down the pecking order.

However we never know, pay experiments alot.

Wouldn't Olive be one of the Morris' successor?

Don't roast me but I would try...

1. Holland
2. Morris
3. Mbye (nothing but a glorified centre)
4. Hoppa
5. Olive
I like this. Holland would definitely be better off defending as a fullback, or else he will be targeted in defence too easily subbing for Morris. Olive in for Montoya is good I reckon.

I’m sorry, I know it’s an old argument but I just refuse to believe we are going to have a backline for the next couple of years where that hack Hopoate is our marquee guy, yet we are giving up on the Morris twins. They save 8 points every week and score at least a try between them minimum most weeks.
It’s worth selling Hopoate and Tolman and paying whatever we can get to have them off our books and at LEAST put that money we are saving towards the twins for a 2 year contract.
Bag the Morris’s all you want for their age and then getting slower, but you watch how much we leak points in the next 2 years and how many missed opportunities we have.
Fucking Hopoate..... Please.....
Did I say FUCK YOU DES/DIB/GRIMMACE?
They have really stepped it up this year, not sure if it's to earn a contract or because des is a wanker and not getting them enough ball but on current form they are worthy of a extension, problem is they would want a big pay cheque as they are coming towards the end of there careers. Regardless I hope jmoz gets given a job in and around the club somewhere after retirement

I would love to see Holland get a go at fullback. This year I keep thinking to myself how much he reminds me of Les Johns. Just that build and look. Heck, I am all for giving him a go at fullback and moving Mbye to centre. Let's have some fun experimenting.

It's been obvious JMK can't last 80 from day dot, subbing Holland on in the final 15 was never the right option.
Whether he is the best replacement hooker or not he has made an impact every time he has come on.

Funny how the majority were rubbishing Holland at every opportunity. Now they are jizzing over him.

Ive only watched okunbor a few times and as a forward so dunno how hed go as a centre. I like the idea of having a big man out wide tho. I think he will be a handful.
With rfm on contract for a few more years, may be not a bad idea to train okunbor as a centre.
Not even sure if hes currently registered as part of the nrl squad.

Holland came in a couple of times fresh for 15 minutes and found tired forwards.. 80 minutes is a different story but I'd still take him over Montoya

And like i said before, you throw any half decent back on in that situation and they would do the same running from dh against tires forwards.

We need to run with dual hookers as much as i don't like it. JMK struggles to last the big minutes so why not do a 50/30 split between him and Brown or something close to that? We struggle to score points so having a hooker that is reasonably fresh and can consistently jump out from dh with some pace could open up a lot more opportunities for us than just throwing Holland on for the final 15.

Time to blood Lewis... or Olive.

Montoya NEEDS to be dropped... teams are exposing that side of field and we are leaking points.

Not sure if Montoya is the problem. I think Hopoate plays a big part as well.
