Good on him. At least someone is fighting for the club
Tigers will never learn... Always had old club men coming in stopping them from evolving and moving on from the past. Farah, Marshall, Farah again and now Sheen's. They won't make finals for ages now.Saw this coming as soon as he returned to the Tigers, ***** fucking 70+ just give it away.
His 2005 gameplay revolving around speed using his small mobile pack to concentrate on quick play the balls ..was brilliance.. no team could stay with em.Short memories you lot
Twice created a playing style that suited his specific squad(s) and took them to glory
Before that also started to turn Penrith in to a serious club instead of easybeats
Made superstars of many players at both clubs
It’s rumoured for a short term only while he develops a new coach
Great call by the Tigers if true

Yeah..but the game plan was spot on.. Sheens coached to their strengths..speed and mobility.. Got to give it to him..he identified it a coached them to do it.. Mind you they would never get anywhere near those heights again..Everyone romanticise tigers 05 but forget a few things
Saints with the best nrl roster ever choked as usual
Top seeds dogs roosters and panthers were all wiped out with injures
I agree on that part for sure, not many of the good coaches in the NRL do that these days, esp the day 1ersYeah..but the game plan was spot on.. Im retired - i think the potential issue for someone Sheen's age is the ability to relate to players 50 years younger than him. Will he be respected as a wise senior figure woth listening to or as an old fart trying to revive a bygone era? This thread is going to reveal all the retirees who are on TK, "whaddayamean he's too old!!??"
