Is Anytime fitness cheap accommodation?

A friend of mine said that he is worried that anytime fitness is really just cheap accommodation?

A bum could get a membership for $15 a week. Go there late at night, have a shower and then sleep there in a corner somewhere. If anyone says anything show your membership badge and say you in between sets.

He has a point, there is anytime fitness all over australia so you could travel wherever, go do a dump, have a shower and sleep and then go to your next destination.

Some people think outside of the box, cheaper than renting? Cheaper than travelling and staying in a hostel where ya gotta smell some mugs feet of a night.

$15 a week is cheap to have accommodation in 100+ suburbs nationally.. you can stop and do a crap and have a shower at any of em, sleep a bit too. Do some situps if need be too to keep it all legit

Except that FF have computerised timing / entry systems and if you are in there for longer than a certain time period, it'll flag up.

If two people come in separately and leave together its unlikely they will send the cops to check it all out.

The only thing that might keep bums from sleeping in there is the music they play all night. Nothing some ear muffs wont fix.

I hear you but dont that card just open the door? It dont tell them if you broke the 15 min rule on the treadmill or when you leave?

Two bums could work together, one keeps the door open whilst bum#2 puts the card out in the carpark under a rock... Bum#1 lets bum#2 back in and they are in the clear.

Even one bum could just chuck the proxy car out in the bush to collect in morning.

There’s these things for bums called “homeless shelters” that gives them accomodation for $0.00

What's the issue? Yes they are know to take out basic memberships to use the bathroom facilities to shower when it is very quiet.

They have enough going on in their life. Cut them a break.

Aside from working on their traps which I doubt they care about, shelters give them accomodation, food/water, shower and toilet facilities... why pay $15 for that per week when you can get it for free.

St Vincent's is like the Burj Al Arab Hotel for homeless and junkies.

All they have to do is go to ER and claim chest pain.

Prox card entries normally log (in the same way ANPR systems log license plates in ticketless parking areas).

Entries are put into a database, and if the entry remains in there to long (e.g someone has entered and not left), it flags up as a warning for the parking attendant/security company/staff to investigate.
