Salmon is Ciraldo's favourite player he'll be in the 17 for a long time.

Most of last year the 2nd starting front rower with King only had an opening stint or limited minutes.

If Hayward is in the side his job should be to give Mahoney a 20 minute spell. That is the only reason he should thought of.

Salmon is a similar handbrake in attack as hutch was last year. Cannot be in our best 17

Yh Mahoney absolutely stinks, bloke just does not have 80 in him and I can't believe Ciraldo hasn't addressed. Mahoney, Salmon and Hayward are our biggest issues right now that can easily be addressed if Ciraldo is willing to make the right changes.

People should take you seriously in your assesment as you don't have Burton in your top 3. highlights how much of an issue they are.

Mahoney just needs spell between 30 mins till 50 mins. He needs to keep it simple and not over play his hand. The fact the dragons were slapping the ball out of his arms worries me.

He's a terrible lock and offers sweet fuck all. Hooker rotation or nothing for him.

For me guys my trust in Reed M doesn't even exist anymore.
Let's recall the manly dogs first week of finals and that's exactly what he's done. Not even a consistent 9 it's about time CC has to give him 30mins break for Hayward

The bench was on point today. We didn't have the option of Curran. We didn't look flat at all, and we had two interchanges up our sleave for the late Critta and Kiks injuries. Hayward's there to cover Mahoney, otherwise we use Mann in that role and lose Mann's attacking firepower. CC uses Hayward for the last 20 min simply cause he's fresh. DSF had 20 very good minutes in him (hasn't played first grade for a while), did his job well and gave us size early.
Mann at 14 allows less interchanges and creates a new point of attack against tired forwards when he comes on.
Pretty impressive by CC. Critta's cramp let them back in the game but it's usual practice to see if the player runs off the cramp.

Hopefully once we are into the season he settles, it was good he wasn't trying to niggle in this game, we need him clam and collected plus the referees of our back.
