I think it depends on what your view of underrated is, I think not being on the representative radar is one component. Stan was very consistent for a long period of time and I can't remember him even making the old City II's sides and Peter Kelly was such a dominant force but only played two SOO's and no tests. Although, you are right, he was always highly regarded by our fans... with good reason.

Matt Utai. He was a faster, more agile and was a better finisher than Brain TOO, However Too is a walk up start for NSW and Utai was never even in the conversation. Never understood why he was so underrated. My mate said he played him in Oztag a few times (around 2015) and he was unstoppable.
