Dear All,

It is with profound sadness that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my beloved older brother and The Kennel co-founder, Habs (Osman), who tragically passed away last week.

He was not only a co-founder of this forum but also the best older brother, a dedicated father to two young children, a loving husband, and a cherished member of the whole community. I know his presence both in our lives and on this forum will be deeply missed by all members.

Here is the last response I got from Habs.

It's so sad I'll never get another response from him in this lifetime.
He was a man of reason and wisdom which I will always miss.

Yeah man. 1995 was a classic. It gave us bragging rights over Manly. Since our comp win, Manly have won 2 comps and we have done nothing. Steve menzies top player and great bloke. Seen him a few times at d captains club.

Bloody hell I have been so busy with real world shit that I am just finding out about this now. What a tragic loss, far too young.

Thanks for everything you did for this community and for all of your contributions to your real world community and family habs. I didn't know you that well, but everything I am reading now really proves what an asset you were to everyone close to you.

I have just saw this now and I'm in deep shock about Habib, that was his original Kennel name when I first registered back in 2003, then he had other names along the way.

We've had good discussions on both here and on MSN, I just wasn't aware he was a very good troll and he has got me good, even teased about my name as my name is also Osman.

I have never met him personally but I have respected him along the way. All round nice guy and willing to help others like Assassin and KE when their father passed away.
