If you could pick a ‘Bulldogs’ goal kicker from any era to kick a winning goal - who would you choose?

Overall I would still pick Halligan, but any one of these 3 would be my choice. What about you guys, who would be your 3 and why, and overall who would you pick?

1. Daryl Halligan - hardly ever missed.
2. Hazem El Masri - hardly ever missed and was coached to kick from Halligan.
3. Ross Conlon - was reliable from anywhere on the field.

All were great, chook and anything over 50m Conlon, Ross Conlon put it dead from 60m out.

All 3 are great sharpshooters under pressure and have been proven clutches to win important games. I’ve enjoyed watching Hazem the most though

Honorable mention for Rhys Martin who was very underrated as he played in weaker teams. Almost took the record for successive goals would you believe!

Elmasri he was so composed the kick whilst blowing a gale at sharts Park, for win against knights with entire stadium of Newcackle fans booing him, and kicking goals blindfolded on the footy show with Gus, from memory. Great bloke too.

One who was under-rated (due to the El Masri era) was Shifty Sherwin. He was a sharp shooter too. Hazem suffered a season-ending injury in 2005 and Shifty took over. Hardly missed.

Thurston also managed to kick for us a few times before going to the Cowboys.

We've been blessed with plenty of good kickers over the years.

On a side note. Another awesome kicker who isn’t from the Dogs. I know it will upset a few and that’s Latrell Mitchell. Only an observation as he’s not the greatest, but watch him next time he kicks. Bloody awesome current kicker.

Agree Haz, Chook and Rossco the best Bulldog kickers in my lifetime. In more recent years - a short stint with us but Krisnan Inu was quite a handy kicker.
