I really wonder about the value of City/Country. Players have to play Thursday and then back up on the weekend. If selectors can't decide State of Origin teams based on club performance then maybe we need new selectors. IMO it should be used as an opportunity for younger city and country players to get some exposure. It's a bullshyte game every year.

i dunno if you're being serious or not, but if you are then i think you're confused with the rule that ANZAC test players can't be selected for city/country.
