Agree....captains challenge might help in situations like this although im sure if there spending 2mill on this bunker they should get the technology to rule on a forward pass, the same way a straight line in soccer can rule on offside and same way nfl can rule on a first down with a line of technologyI understand the need to keep the game flowing and forward passes do get 'missed' to avoid stopage of the game BUT If a try is being reviewed for authenticity then I dont understand the logic ( or lack of) for not reveiwing the 'forward pass'
And particularly in a finals game.
At least let this be a captains challenge.
If Sharks win it's because of the drug cheating. The nrl loves to reward any type of cheat.Bulldogs over cap in 2002 win comp 2 years later.
Storm over the cap in 2010 win comp 2 years later.
Eels over the cap in 2016 will win the comp in 2018.
Next year will be another "fairytale".
At least the WWE doesn't pretend to be legit.Don't forget they are building Warriors up now too. NRL = WWF
2018 - 30 years since Terry Lamb KO'd The Black Pearl2012- Storm redemption
2013- Return of SBW
2014- Ring the Bell
2015- Maiden finals victory
2016- Harrold Holt and Asada redemption feel good story
Yep NRL is scripted. Proof is the blatant forward pass that the refs let go...
What about Newcastle....won one only 1 match in 2016, to be premiers in 2017. What a fairtytale3 teams I've got, Raiders,Warriors or Eels for 2017 premiers. Each team has a heart warming story of redemption.
They dont have the squad capable of winning games. Its funny how Newcastle were the team that made the superleague lose the war but now no one really gives a shit about them. What about Newcastle....won one only 1 match in 2016, to be premiers in 2017. What a fairtytale
Our sob story will be that we will win it when the refs cant make the other team win, opposition will have 16 players on the field and throwing it forward like american football, but we will some how win.Maybe we will get our winning "script" by the nrl after a 30-40 year drought loll
Hope we cheat the cap next year so we can win the comp in 2019Bulldogs over cap in 2002 win comp 2 years later.

I picked this at the start of the year so did @ASSASSINThe nrl will making it waaayyy too obvious that its all a set up these days
2014- souths...43 year drought
2015- cowboys- first premiership
2016- sharks? First premiership
I get the nrl is a business but come on!!!
2014 - Souths were far and away the better team... they played better than we did in the GF. If you watched the GF, you would agreeThe nrl will making it waaayyy too obvious that its all a set up these days

Im not saying they wouldnt deserve it or its such a massive rig, its more along the lines of the nrl has a script to make them more money and over the course of the year those certain teams get heavily favoured by refs with alot of 50 50 calls or just dud calls, the team itself still has to obviously play well the refs cant do it all loll2014 - Souths were far and away the better team... they played better than we did in the GF. 2015 - Cowboys left it to the dying seconds. They did not turn off in defense, the Broncos did. They did not knock-on in extra time, the Broncos did. The Broncos lost the GF more than the Cowboys won it
2016 - If the Sharks win, you can't deny them. 15 straight win, leading the comp for most of the years. The stats speak for themselves.
