I'm not sure if this has been done before but here it is anyway.

Hypothetical: You've been playing first grade for a club that you have been a fan of since you were young. You've had a great two season's and as your contract is due to expire...you have received an offer from a rival club for more money as well as an offer from rugby union.

Current salary: 200,000
Rival club: 300,000
RU offer: 400,000

What would you do?

* Stay at your current club
* Take the offer from the rival club
* Switch codes to rugby union

There are many variables that are factored into such a big decision, however with all things being equal and based on your own thoughts, please state your choice.

speak to my family first.

if im happy at my current club and get along with all the players there and comfortable with how things are done there, i'd side with sticking with them.

Union. You only play for a certain number of years. The money sounds good. Can always watch your favourite footy side when you retire. LOL

I'd accept the Rival clubs offer, but I would not switch codes. Not because union is a bad sport or anything, but it'd be too much of a change for me.

If you were earning 200,000 a season, I highly doubt that your kid would be crying on the floor due to hunger.
