He only has a one year contract.
Clearly all those in the know in NRL know is was not Des, but an attitude issue with Williams himself.

Otherwise he would have been offered a larger contract for a couple of years.

Sharks know he is a risk.

And a 1 year contract is the only way to motivate him to play to expectation.

And if he doesn't then he is gone.

Large long term contracts are never a good idea.
