Hodkinson has risen to 8[SUP]th[/SUP] (from 9[SUP]th[/SUP]) in overall points. He is one of only three still in this list without their own tries scored, which indicates that his kicking is on point, and that our team are providing him with enough opportunities for them (even if the ref denied him one at the death last round -_- ).

He has also broken his way into the top 10 for kick-metres for the first time this season. Given his low number of kicks relative to the rest of the top 10, in this list he is actually second place for average metres per kick (33.8 m) – but assuming these stats measure all kicks (like close-range grubbers) then average per kick isn’t too meaningful.

Rona retains the top spot for tries scored with 6, and is thus the only player to average more than 1 try per game. New to the list is Perrett who has racked up four tries so far. Great finishers.

After none of our players were on the list for try assists last week, Mbye has leap-frogged the competition into fourth place and is the only player in this list that hasn’t played all 5 games this season. It’s great to see this kid get so much game time.

Lichaa
continues to climb in the tackle lists (9[SUP]th[/SUP] to 8[SUP]th[/SUP] to 7[SUP]th[/SUP]) and he didn’t even get to play a full 80 minutes last week. Averaging 44.4 tackles per game. Champion.

Tolman and Graham still rank in the top 5 forwards for hit ups, but Tuivasa-Sheck pips them overall, leaving them in 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] and 6[SUP]th[/SUP] place. No other team has two players in this list.

Kasiano is second for offloads, improving from fourth place last week, but averaging less offloads than he was in rounds 1 and 2. I guess the difference could be that he’s picking his moments better.

Bmoz and Rona add 1 line-break each to their tally after last round and are 1[SUP]st[/SUP] and 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] respectively.

Mbye joins Graham and Hodkinson in the list for line-break assists (all players have 3, and Reynolds has 2). We are the only team with 3 players in this list.

Bmoz retained his bronze medal for tackle-breaks, adding 3 to his tally from last week, for a total of 25. Also worth pointing out here that Greg Inglis was ranked second last week for tackle-breaks and didn’t make one against us, pushing him down to equal 9[SUP]th[/SUP].

Hodkinson and Mbye are still on the lists for long kicks that find the opposition on the full (3[SUP]rd[/SUP] and 8[SUP]th[/SUP]). However for the first time this season Hodkinson has squeezed his way into the long kicks to open field list with 9. Granted RLW hasn’t included all the players on 9[SUP]th[/SUP] place, so Hodkinson shares the spot with Wallace, Cherry-Evans and Cornish and one of their names could have been there instead of Hodkinson’s. But still, we can be glad he is at least ‘up’ there, as a few playmakers from other teams aren’t.

Bmoz slipped from 4[SUP]th[/SUP] to 6[SUP]th[/SUP] with kick return metres (only made 60m from them this week). The other players on this list all had an extra game than he did, so he would be higher than 6[SUP]th[/SUP] player had those calves not bothered him. But this will probably be his last time on this list :(

We have no players on the lists for missed tackles, errors or conceded penalties. Excellent.

One last thing, for perspective’s sake, the last round of stats were earned against Souths “the best team in the comp” (heavily exaggerated finger quotations), so for that alone we should remain positive. The elephant in the room is that Bmoz, Kasiano and Graham have time on the sidelines and may not be able to remain in their top 10 lists. Time will tell.

Manly's crowd numbers are a real worry if they don't pick up soon :|

Looking good with regards to that stats.

Look at those crowds, we are 10k higher then everyones favorites. The NRL has had a lobotomy trying to drag us though the mud when we are nsws most popular team.

I know, we certainly don't become a bad side when we have Perrett at fullback. But when it's Bmoz you feel like something could happen every time he has the ball in his hands.

I feel like we could get some standardized crowd units going on here; our crowds are 1 manly crowd (let's just call it an MC) larger than South's ;)

It appears from these statistics that no one other than Reynolds does much for his side Souths. They will miss him.
