Opinion How long will Averillo last at 7?

Don’t get me wrong I think he’s a good player but I’m no way is he a 7 nor will he last there.

It’s only a matter of time, I think he’ll be moved into a new position for him or dropped by Rd 12

Unless we make a signing at halfback I think he will stay there for the year. BBO looks so much better at hooker and the other two options are a sideways move at best.

Knowing Gus, after turfing Cleary and Griffin, one things for sure is that Baz & Jake will be gone at seasons end

To be fair JMK or Flanno at halfback might be a better option then Avo. They all lack IQ at this level but Avo has more natural ability with ball in hand.
I think Baz needs to stay solid for at least 6 weeks before making any changes unless it’s forced by injury or extremely poor performance.

JMK should never been seen in the halves again and we have all seen what Flanagan provides. Tbaz stuck solid with Avo throughout last season and I can’t see him dropping him now.
