below is a theory about the mother. doesnt spoil anything though,,
remember in season 1, in the ep. belly full of turkey.
a girl approaches ted, and says "Hi, im Amber"
Ted shakes her hand and says "Im Ted"
then the girl says .."actually im Tracy"
ted replies with "..still ted"
then the voice over says..well kids, thats the true story of how i met your mother
and the kids scream WHAT!
would it be safe to assume that the mothers name is Tracy because of the kids reaction.
they couldnt believe their mum was a strippeer.

Also, remember in the St Patricks day episode?
Ted went to a party on St Pattys day, and he mentioned that the mother was also there, but he didnt meet her.
Well during the episode he just bumped into a random girl out of nowhere, and said sorry, she said "that ok"
Why would they put that in? It had nothing to do with the plot of the episode, could that be a clue of who the mother is?
hm, also interesting. they didnt really need to do that bump. but i think thats a little too easy.
apart from the ones we covered, there isnt too many more clues on the mother
btw, it came out as a torrent on eztv
