Erm... he got suspended for dropping a shoulder into his face after the tackle was completed. Not the best example of perfect tackling technique.

hodkinson is quite sound defensively he can read the play pretty well and most times tackles 1 on 1 when needed

I'd love to see Hodko lay Matai out , would be funny watching his little pigtails flail about while falling to to the ground.

I thought KK was an effective defender but Hodko has stepped right up and we have lost nothing.He is pretty big for a half and isn't as zippy around the ruck but makes up for it in other ways.
Now Hasler knows why we wanted to give Hodko a run, hope he keeps on producing the goods.

Hodko is bloody stocky for his size. That hit on MoiMoi was all class last week. Also Reynolds hit on their fullback was a beauty too.

He also reads well in defence. Countless number of times where he makes the right decision and cuts down a much bigger opponent (usually second rower).

If only Josh Reynolds could tackle like this..
