With the forward pack we will have next year pretty much anyone could play halfback providing they are reasonably coordinated. Reynolds will improve, ennis can get better too.

According to some articles ive seen Brett Finch has been linked to us for 2013. Can't remember if he played half or 5/8.
Last time he was in the NRL 5/8 with the Storm

It's a shame TH is injured again but lets count our lucky stars that we have KK in good form

Pity Tom Humbles not off contract. Would push for first grade at most clubs.

Out of that list:
Jordan Rankin is unproven somewhat. Has Michael Lett syndrome. Debuted in 2008 REALLY young, played 15 games since then, only scored 1 first grade try in 15 games.
Liam Foran I'm sure re-signed with Manly. Was offered a new contract shortly after Keiran from memory.
Arana Taumata - If he can turn his off field issues around (Romelo style), with the right coach he could be another Josh Reynolds style player. But he's a work in progress in Penrith and Gould has taken him under his wing.

Guess that brings Romelo back into calculations as a back up

They are all 5/8's and average.

Either we wait and have a go at trying to snare Thruston or we try and develop a new halfback.

All the sudden talk about buying a halfback because our reserve halfback got injured. KK is going well and will only get better under Des. Im happy with who we have. We are equal first with the team we have, which will also have Tony Williams in it next year. Dont see us needing anyone else. KK will do the job.

Good reminder of where we are at now and who helped get us there. But why do we need to buy another half back? Its been a while since I've seen any Toyota Cup but the halfback there, Freddie Robinson, was putting in top class performances.
