It’s true Penrith finished 2nd last in Gus first full season there. He got rid of Lewis and Jennings and took the long term approach. They made a prelim in their 3rd season he was there. I think Gus is looking for a halfback. The Mahoney signing was a stroke of magic. But don’t expect miracles this season.

Mahoney will do nothing with the way this team is coached. It’s like they are told don’t play heads up footy. Way to structured hence why they all look lost when it doesn’t work out. Either Baz needs to let them play and throw out the book or just quit. If he honestly thinks winning 3 games last year and coping a hiding today with 0 points on the board is RE building then maybe he should just leave before he causes more damage
