Maybe.. he came through Titans system I am pretty sure he was at Souths in 2019 and made his debut in 2020. They may have crossed paths.

Either way, they are very dumb signings. Knee jerk reactions from a coach who is desperate for quick results and it shows they have no faith in their junior development of some players. I reckon next year they cut ties with Blacktown Workers as well.

Look at most of the other teams as well. None of it really adds up when comparing rosters.

It's one of many ways to distribute your cap. There's no real right or wrong way.

Having said that, the above method has worked for Storm and Manly over the years and now Parra.

If anything, it's our distribution of not having any players over 1M yet have 2 reserve grade teams with highly paid reserve graders that has proven to be a failure.

So go figure.....

Good points - Having two good quality nsw cup standard teams is not going to work - which it seems is where the dogs are at currently.
