Just been sacked at Newcastle. Pretty sure he was with Penrith in 2021. What are the odds of him turning up as part of Ciraldo's staff?

Hard to find much;

Went to Newcastle this year, was at Penrith last year. Has been in the NSW set up as well.

Knowles has spent time at the Sydney Roosters, Gold Coast Titans, Parramatta Eels and most recently at the Penrith Panthers.

Dunno about him. Looks like he benefited from the Penrith system more than anything and he was a complete failure at Newcastle but doubt it’s all his fault. Prefer we get an old school spastic that’s gonna run these lazy ***** into the ground. Break them down then build them back up.

Australian Commandos
Kicking things off in our own backyard, we start with the ‘head of the spear’ of Australia’s military. Australian Commandos are regarded as some of the toughest soldiers in the world, and it’s easy to see why from their strict physical entry requirements. To qualify for Commando selection, Australian applicants must complete:

  1. A minimum of 60 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 10 pull-ups, with points awarded for extra reps (the more points you get the higher your score for the strength component).
  2. A run, dodge, jump course in under 50 seconds.
  3. A 2.4km run in 11:30 minutes or less in patrol uniform and kit weighing 7kg, runners, and holding a rifle.
  4. A swim test immediately following the run, involving a 2 minute water tread, and 400m swim in 18 minutes in full uniform and shoes.
  5. 15km endurance march in 2 hours 20 minutes, carrying a 28kg pack.
If this gruelling test isn’t insane enough, applicants have just 3 minutes between each exercise, and 5 minutes between the 3k run and 100m sprint. They even have to jog from the running track to the gym to continue the test.

So what do they do after that warm up?

That's pretty intense. I feel like I'd have to train a couple of months and may also have to drop a couple of decades to knock that over.

One Monday in preseason many moons ago, 21’s were training with reserve grade and first grade, billy wasn’t in a good mood and flogged us that bad I’ll never forget it, 15 lap time trial, followed by 12 400’s, 12 200’s, 20 100’s, 20 50’s, we then did 15 mins off laps where last bloke sprints to the front. We finished with 12 triangles which turned into 18 with penalties. All the while billy yelling at blokes to get to the front cause they were blushing. And being in under 21’s I was part time as well . Never ever forget it
