No chance they would have played him
Would he have played this week with Smith our? I guess we’ll never know now

I can’t really fault any player who has decided to leave the club the last few years.YESSSSS have been waiting on this annoucment for so so long. Good on him. He has been mucked around by from the start of the season. It's been a long time coming and the club should have released him when first asked ages ago. Off to Manly we go. Good luck
Wouldn't mind having Will, Jamil and Albert in the squadRumours are that Jamil Hopoate may be signing soon.
I would.Wouldn't mind having Will, Jamil and Albert in the squad
Will should be captain, Jamil would be a solid squad player and Albert was a gun junior (who i know has had a couple of serious knee injuries). They would be cheap so if they don't amount to anything - no loss.I would.
Jamil is rubbish while I think Albert is going off on his mission. Need to look elsewhereWill should be captain, Jamil would be a solid squad player and Albert was a gun junior (who i know has had a couple of serious knee injuries). They would be cheap so if they don't amount to anything - no loss.
If Barrett does come im happy to narrow our fullback options down to; Averillo, Edwards or Staines. Averillo though is our highest priority player right now, our recruitment really hinges on where he plays especially if we chase BurtonAlbert Hopoate comes to mind. Hopoate's youngest brother (?). He's a fullback.
So once again we do a club a favour and take their dead wood so they free up cap space. Lafai has been at the Dragons for the last 5 years and done nothing...we must have a player coming, be that Lafai from all reports, for him to be released.
Making space for Cotric to move immediately, maybe potential swap for CHN (Canbra need forwards), who knows?
Go Dogs
The bloke he replaced, Sam Smith was allowed to leave to return to Qld for family reasons....100%, even if he wasn't in our plans we should have tried to get a player in return.
Also read somewhere it was on compassionate grounds, what could they possibly be. It's not like he's going back to NZ hesd going to another suburb of Sydney.
Manly enquired and we agreed, to make the extra spot needed for Okky and CHN.Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today signed exciting young centre Morgan Harper until the end of the 2022 season.
Harper joins the Sea Eagles immediately after today gaining a release from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He will join his new Manly team-mates at training tomorrow.
The 21-year-old made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs against Brisbane in round 25 of the 2019 season.
Born in Hamilton, New Zealand, Harper has played two NRL games after progressing from the Canterbury Cup. He had been contracted to the Bulldogs for the last five seasons.
