general would be your next option for captain obviously but i think its safe to say general would not want it you need a forward really to be a captain or a half and i think that leaves it to hannant and ennis whoever is looking more long term. and patten probz wouldnt be around for the next 2-3 years where as either hannant or ennis would be.

Our recent captains have had fairly long stints.

Ennis has a lot more time left then either Kimmorley or Patten.

Captaincy could be a big factor in keeping him when his contract is up also.

1. patten should be asked first b4 noddy.
2. when they pasted patten ennis would be next or hannant simply becoz noddy wont be round long.
3. it can be used as persuading im sure ennis or hannant would thrive for captaincy.

Sorry guys. Patten is a legend - and could reach 200 games this year with some luck (177 now). But he is 30 now with a suspect back - so just too old to be appointed captain. Captain needs to be younger. Ennis is the logical choice. Or Hannant.
