Why are we looking at backs when clearly we have problems in our attack????

Mbye may have a bright future but both Reynolds and may are 5/8.

1 of these 2 need to be an organiser and they are not not that!!

Talk about flogging a dead horse. Name a halfback who's available and worth chasing.

Its offseason so i expected this thread to appear now and then. The fact we got rid of a perfectly fine half to run Mbye probably means we arent in the market for any halves. Theres nothing worth getting on the market in any case. Hopefully Des will train Mbye into something in the offseason. Remember MBye is a rookie. He will get better one would think.

Two quality halfbacks are available for 2017 (Cronk and Kodi Nikorima) Both quality players that would be a definite upgrade on our current situation.

Cronk is on his last legs and its a waste of money for a cameo, and i dont think Kodi would be an instant fix either.

This topic has been done to death and always seems to fall on death ears. Besides Dane just might be the game maestro we are looking for.

Thurston was a 5/8th when he started and it didn't take him long to transition into a great #7. His first few appearances in the halves when starting in 2004 were only OK but he really went up to another level in 2005. Hopefully Mbye can follow the same path.

He has vision and pace. All he needs to do is improve his kicking game and his game management. That's not easy but all we want is to see some improvement. We can't afford to have him drift in and out of games. This kid could be our solution for the next ten years, along with Lichaa. Only time will tell...
