They so no pain,no gain.
But if you're struggling and straining then you're risking giving yourself hernia!

I think too many people have watch pumping iron and have the wrong idea?

Walked into the gym yesterday, 4 people sitting there on machines staring at their phone. When I got back from change room, same people, same machine looking at their phones.

Same gym last week, few good lookin chicks floating around (dolled up, yoga pants & plastered in make-up) walking around talking. hour later, still talking and walk out not a drop of sweat as they done SFA haha. Gym is a funny place at times.

Think so mate hey. It's how they want to be perceived on social media. Ooh im at the gym here's my standard sideways ass out Horse legged stance in the mirror. They are more concerned how they look in social media than they do in real life.

Its the world we live in bro and it sucks....

In all honesty I don't really care about what other people do there, but what happens in the gym, stays in the gym... don't do a half assed workout then get home and post Facebook statuses about your work out, or gym selfies on Instagram

See when the time comes when I motivate my lazy ass to work out in routine again.
It won’t be to impress others but will be purely for myself.

Considering I’m not in the best shape I can throw my weight around.
I definitely need to do cardio again.

It’s hard to get in a set routine when you’re doing shift work!

I miss hard physical work for that reason.
I don’t get a work out at work anymore.

I Know exactly what you are saying mate. I have made a decision to change my job early next year to get out and be more physical as i've been mainly office based for past 10 years. and we know what usually happens then.
Been back into the gym for last 4-5 months like I used to, motivation was a thing for myself too. Work/home/kids repeat. Thought fuck it, went completely out of my comfort zone and signed up with a PT. Best thing i've done for myself for a long time. Actually look forward to going to the gym now, feel a heap better. Hardest part was actually the first meeting and going through with it.

Good on you mate.

Very few better investments in life than in your health and fitness.

I know what you mean mate. I've been an office worker for the past 15 years. My problem however is that I've got ants in my pants, so I cannot, simply CANNOT, be confined to the 4 walls of this (or any other) office for 8 hours straight. At lunchtime, providing it's not sizzling hot or raining, I'll walk for about 50 minutes, and then spend the other 10 in the breakout room eating my lunch. People have often commented of how I manage to stay in good shape for my age. My secret... 10,000 steps per day people.

That's it, stay active as much as possible. I drink a heap of water now, more than I used to, so i'm always up either filling up the bottle or takin a piss haha.

Walking can do so much for you people don't understand.

I know most on here take the piss @Blue_boost but secretly they all wait for your next thread.

I'm happy to have you around especially in an extra boring and most likely, uneventful off season with no purchasing.
I always laugh when I see what scenarios he comes up with for his threads. Stupidly entertaining is how I see it.

All I got from most of this was somehow unloading more combinations than a Chinese restaurant.

Best way to defuse a situation is to stare them dead in the eye while you're vigorously masturbating yourself. It completely stuns them into "I don't know what to do" mode.

Why go to the gym when there's perfectly good shit on TV?

Seriously, you'd be better off flipping tyres.....Gyms are fuckwit magnets.

Yep - I also drink plenty of water too.

Speaking of which... it's time for me to step inside the little boys room!
