From Foxsports:

GUUS Hiddink will be the next Russian national coach, it was reported overnight.

...
The report said Hiddink will take over immediately after the World Cup finals in Germany, which end in July.

The 59-year-old is coaching Dutch champion PSV Eindhoven and will lead Australia to the World Cup.

Hiddink, who took the Netherlands (1998) and South Korea (2002) to the World Cup semi-finals, has long been seen as a front-runner to take over Russia's national side.

...

Russia has been without a coach since November when Yuri Syomin quit after it failed to qualify for the World Cup finals
Mixed emotions about this one...

Disappointed for the socceroos for losing such a quality coach...

But THRILLED for Russia (my motherland) for getting Guus to finally turn them into a competitive winning force in World Football :D :D :D

:D
