At Panther he signed Tamou to help with forward development/coming through. He did the same in the halves with Maloney.

And he would love to do the same at the dogs if suitable players at sensible price tag were availible.
They are not available, so he has to build from within.
He is also keeping some available funds should anything become availible.

Because Gus knew that he only had a 2023 jersey available for the photo shoot after AFB signed and AFB also said that he wanted to then give the jersey to SJ to wear in a social media post on NYE, so Gus had to factor in the jersey delivery cost across the pond and hence deducted it from AFB’s offer. What a shocking ‘miss’ by Gus, just because he was trying to keep the club’s postage budget in check before the accounts are finalised for the AGM #ClownCrew
