Issue I have is that Gus has been here now for over 2yrs… we’ve lacked big grunt up front even before his time, and during Covid we borrowed 2 x Raiders Props to help us out for a game or two due to injuries and how thin we are up front… and since then, he’s done f’uck all to solve that issue.
Again…. 2 x Off Seasons to jag a number of forwards….
just remember we were coming out of the salary cap bs fiasco and then we finally had a chance to start spending and the 17th team comes. Sht timing but that’s life what do we do

Shouldn't also overlook the effect Covid had on the feeder competitions which slowed down player development by up to 2 years.

Good point - i think having a RM team this year kept players engaged in the gameand given those most impacted by the covid shut down a little extra time to develop particularly forwards

Also noted. It was a shocking timeline for our club to get out of the trenches and come out to see our light

Ive always been of the opinion Burton will end up at Roosters. 24' is a make or break year for him with us imo.
He has to aim up consistently. The longer he goes missing the more chance he will end up like Luke Brooks a wasted talent who lost the hunger and desire.

Fullback is his best spot 100%
I think this is a good spot for him to test the waters. He has speed and can kick. The current generation of players, you could easily put him at fullback.
