Doing a great job with juniors and development pathways and feeder clubs.
Only criticism of recent recruitment is we should have targeted addressing weaknesses in key positions on a needs basis rather than recruiting players such as tpj, kikau and Crichton who are good players and make us a better team but we certainly had more pressing needs that are still major holes.
The old argument regularly gets floated hasn’t been much talent available but take half for example the likes of Townsend, dearden, drinkwater, reynolds, Moses have shifted clubs or been up for grabs in the last 2 - 3 yrs.

Not saying it’s been perfect but there is literally no one who could do a better job than Gus. Calls for Gus to be sacked are laughable

@Nate, your spot on mate, but it’s almost pointless debating with some on here, they clearly didn’t bother listening to Gus when he said it was a 5yr plan and we’re only in our 2nd with him. All this bullsh!t negativity after a game we were never a chance at winning - it’s ridiculous.

Thank goodness Gus is with us, he will get us out of this mess - he breeds success. On the positive side, we just beat Penrith in Cup without several key Cup players and also beat them in Flegg, Gus must be doing something right having beaten the benchmark club with the best juniors.

We only need a healthy roster, a 7 and 2 middles.

For sure. Big question make is ciraldo only early days and lacking cattle but still to prove himself and really stamp his brand on our style of play thought he was a defensive guru but not showing any real improvement on last year.
Somewhat of a surprise appointment as Gould himself stated it was a tough environment for a rookie coach.

What's Gus on about on 100% footy saying Brooks is committed...

Panel trying to quiz him..gallen comes out saying Brooks at the dogs, Gus smiles....

I don't know what to take from that...

Think Gus is just throwing them off with that. I think he has a plan for 7 but we just have to wait and see?

I read it as Hunt plan A and Brooks plan B.

Brooks doesn't make sense as both he and Burton play on the left.
