My point is proven. On average Bula is on nearly 700k a year when he hasn't played a full year of FG. Critta is on 750k when he's way more proven and accomplished.

You're the one debating whether he is overpaid. You can't make that argument without factoring in other players salaries to compare. And by comparison to a lot of other players, like Best getting 700k, Critta at 750k isn't crazy money. But you can ignore facts, logic and reason all you want..
Where did u pull critta on 750 from? No matter where u look its been reported north of 825k. Those in the know report its north of 900k. U have fabrickated ur numbers creatively to make it seem like Bula is on more and critta on less than reality to try and prove ur point.

You think if you post here or that any form of media speculation is even close to knowing that you can refer to it as ‘reported’ or some sort of reference point?

It’s been proven as fact that you have zero knowledge of player salaries or signing information. Best not to call anyone out when your strike rate is zero

100% the club needs to employ someone to keep fans in the loop.
The shit that people ask Gus, isn’t available on any teams website.
Imagine that?
“This week we did two opposed sessions on Wednesday and Friday. In those sessions we tried player x at HB and player w at centre, then switched player x for player z and player w for player y.
we are also monitoring the stefano situation closely and hoping he doesn’t play origin.
We have 1 spot remaining in our squad and are $1.3m under the cap.”

@04 Dreaming two of the kids Gus apparently signed and people boasted about have now been spat out Gabreal and Montgomery.

Alamoti was the best and most dominant junior in the system for years. He gained so much attention that Politis went to watch him and Khoury signed him to an NRL deal our current Chairman and Leader of the Club. Alamoti finally gets into the NRL under the watchful eye of Gould after being signed up by Khoury and he's gone before he hits 20.

We've had good juniors, good pathways teams and good junior leagues for decades. It's been long set up. What we haven't had is the NRL coaching, the right recruitment & retention at NRL level and the patience at NRL.

All these juniors now probably not as dominant force as Alamoti was. So it's a lottery who comes off and who doesn't.

Gould is working towards the 5yr extension.
While Alamoti has some positives we have far better cattle in that position now. Alamoti was way too slow and you can’t coach that. He will have limited opportunity at Penrith.

He’s only at Penrith because they need players to play against for there opposed sessions and fill a spot in their squad.

Wouldn't surprise me if he transitions into a decent second rower. I wouldn't shut the gate on his career just yet.
Yep I hope he does well.

Just not sure he has the body shape of a second rower. Too slow for a centre.

For those debating Critta's value, supposedly Bula (who I rate and think is/will be really good) was re-signed recently and will get 800-900k in the last year of his deal.. And he hasn't even played a full year of FG..

So a 3 time premiership winner, Origin player and a top 3 centre in the comp at only 24 isn't exactly bad value at 750-800k when the market is so crazy that Bula will be on 800k and players like the Fainu brothers are on 500k each with less than 10 FG games between them..
Said it before Critta is exceptional value at 800k approx regardless of where he plays.
Fuck the haters.
