Well that sucks but LOL DEStroyer is at it again.

They have dead set blown their cap on forwards.

Good luck retaining any of the gun kids.
Are any of them good? They’ve got Tino, Mo, Fifita taking over 3m a year now. We should sign Fermor.. he’s a back rower though but he’s quality

Harris is what Yeo is for the Panthers. Blokes just make it easier for their other playmakers...

Hopefully one of our new utilities can somewhat play that role. Can see Hutcho potentially playing that role well.
I'll probably get some laugh reacts (hopefully) lol but I can see some signs of Travis Norton in Hutcho if he can develop his passing game.

He is on 600k too... He is good, very underrated but doubt hell leave Kweeland like the rest of them.

Gus needs to start looking at NSW boys like Kolo instead.

Travis Was silky... easily the most underrated footballer since the 90's in my opinion... Hutcho has the skillset and the attitude but doubt he has it that well tbh.

Yeah it would have to be developed and part of Ciro's gameplan for him. Be interesting to see how he goes with us.

People on here were already adding Mo onto our 2025 squad.
Makes sense he stays, 800k to live on the Gold Coast/SEQ or 800k to live the overly packed Sydney sardine tin lifestyle where the pressure of a marque signing would become apparent.
Those titans players have shares in a cafe on every corner too.

Yes there's 4 Qld based teams now and Titans especially no longer the Goldy league joke town.

Storm have Sunshine coast Falcons.

Guys won't be needing, or rely, "as much" on Sydney clubs' recruitment to advance now.

Looks like these younger Qlders will rarely stay in NSW now ....more opportunities will open up in Qld teams.

Therefore probably better not to recruit as many Qlders as NSW teams have in the past? Not sure if this will have any impact?

Storm also have Easts Tigers who won the Qld comp & next year Storm have added North Sydney Bears NSWCup team for their Sydney based lower grade players.

Ball playing lock from 30 minutes in - can also kick - frees up Burton to play wider. The way the game is evolving outside backs are doing increasing amounts of hard carries, middles saving energy for aggressive off the line defence - better teams are going with more mobile benches rather than muscling up with big middles. Hutchison, if not selected over Sexton would be an ideal 14 - can cover 9, 6,7 and back row - not a great player but does the fundamental stuff well including kicking.

Really, interesting thought it was weird roosters had essentially 2 Cup sides in roosters and North Sydney, Was wondering if we could do the same thing with Mounties?

We have Toowoomba and that's possibly going to be more fruitful for us...country Qlders?

The coastal areas is well farmed by Broncos Titans and Dolphins - so long term an inland area ( i know not that far inland) may be more fruitful for the Dogs. Add the North Coast and NZ programs things, at least in terms of presence, is much better. Contrast with the Castle philosophy/ aim / goal of trying to field jun rep teams made up of only local club players. No idea of concept of pathways n development

Flegg team had a good balance - some from QLD, some from North coast, some local clubs.

Trying to work out a side where we can fit in Mann, Salmon and Hutchinson. They wouldn’t come here to play reserve grade. You can say the same for Taaffe. This scattergun approach better work.

Hutchison 7, Taffe 1, Salmon 15, Mann 14 - dont think that will happen but possible - if they have been brought to the club because of attitude, professionalism, work ethic and ability - they will earn it

Hutchison pairing with Burto? We'll have 2 very big halves.
