Personally I think this would be a good signing for our team balance. He’s never looked out of place filling in for a top 5 fullback, he’s busy, has ball skills, a kicking game. Would also allow us the extra coin to get some beast forwards across the line

They use the build within as she shouldn't sign players. Well the dumb fucks don't get that within is for the future and signings are for now. We can't throw 18 year old halfbacks and fullbacks in now. Fucking dickheads all over FB using the same terrorcrap lines, build within, 5 year plan. Fucking Muppets run the media.
They also don’t understand basic cap mgt, makes good sense to replace players, some unproven or based on “potential” costing us over 400K… Taaffe would be an efficient quality pick up for sure. He tore us a new one last week and was good in the Rabbitohs finals campaign at fb filling in for Trell under massive amounts of pressure

It's not long ago we were signing up park footballers for the sort of money mentioned for this kid. He would be an upgrade for the money if it were to happen.

We don't need to waste more money on the backline unless we're getting a rep level fullback.

Sign Props.

lol. Gus can’t talk to any other player position until we have announce prop signings. He can only work on one position at a time, and only after it’s announced to fans. Fu&@en Turnips
Gus is signing Taafe as a prop mate. The meeting was to go through his diet in the off season and help him bulk up.

This will be him on day 1 of pre season

He’ll be their starting centre
Be lucky to start at all. The Hammer plays fb,Farnsworth is a lock in 1 centre spot that means Avo is in competition with a bunch of other backs for the last spot. He will be 14.

Where does he play in reserve grade? I always thought he was a halfback coming through stuck behind Reynolds. Then Illias leap frogged him and walker isn’t going anywhere. I know he has filled in mainly at fullback and off the bench but what is his best position?

I heard an interview with critta recently. So he was asked where he played as a junior and he said the first time he played fullback was first grade. He wanted to develop in that position I think Ciraldo or Gus sat down with him when he was maybe 18-19 and said what do you want to develop and where did you see yourself. And he said fullback. Now he is a freak athlete and great player. But if he runs out at fullback next year he will be no different to Jmoz of Bmoz doing the same thing. Like yes they might have a few great games. But could they perform week in week out.

I trust in Gus. It might be blind faith but let him transform us and see what he achieves. It took Penrith a long time to get there. And it’s mainly with juniors. Coming in and signing tino and fafita and haas might be what fans want. But no doubt that will ruin your cap for years.

hope we don't sign him after just one good game and pay overs. there were a couple games earlier in the season where he dropped easy balls, like one on his tryline that led to a try.

See if you can get some good props out of their contracts, that's the only way we get 1 next year
