Goodwin will not be re-signed at the end of this year. As good as certain on that.

Too expensive a player to keep in NSW Cup, and not consistently good enough for first grade.

Please no, I'm embarrassed to even see him in Premier League.

Goodwin's future is in Goodwin's hands. If he is determined enough, he can find white hot form and force the hand of a competitive Hasler. I hope he does - love the under dog status :grinning:

Never even realised he was a soccer player. Must play for Liverpool or something.
Sorry, NSW Cup. He would be pretty awful in the Premier League though.

Based on Goodwins form during the games he played earlier this year then no. However if Goodwin can find form then he will be in the mix. I'd have an inform Goodwin in 2009 over an inform Wright in 2012. Wright still does some stupid things! He is playing for a contract so anything is possible.
and what stupid things does Wright do?

As far as I can see, he has been very consistent this year, and in NO way should be dropped...

Goodwin is a good bloke and it is sad to see him out of the squad, but based on his current form they should be keeping Jono Wright in until Turner can come back.

I think sadly Goodwin will have to find himself a new club if he wants a first grade spot.

I never write off a Bulldog player, he is a better kicker than Inu but the current wingers should hold their places, unless Wright does wrong.
