We were absolutely the better team against Melbourne in Round 6. We won pretty much every stat, 3 tries each, except we missed 2 conversions and they missed 1. Ditto against Manly in the Finals, we should have won that game, it's hard to find a commentator that doesn't agree we were the better team.

I see our main task this year is to win the games where we are the better team, the maturity and experience gained by what was a young team last season has to translate to this season.

Yeh good points mate I like your ability to provide those details, I tend to generalise but remember those games we were defending well in those games but I feel there is a bit of a leap to go till we are controlling that tougher opposition.
 
I reckon around 5th or 6th. I think we will be good enough to make the 8 again and make it into the homeground playoffs in 5th or 6th.

We will be as good if not better than last year but because we are no longer going to be taken lightly we will face more competition and have closer games where we may lose a few. But I don't think we will get smashed again like we did with Cows and Manly in the last couple of rounds and the first final.

I reckon we will win our wat to a GF qualifyer and may even get into the grandfinal. But then I am in two minds that we will win the comp against a Panther or Storm team. I think we lack the experience and the Bulldogs usually lose a GF before winning one.

But I am open to a GF win. I think on the day the Dogs may have more reason to win with all the hard work and the culture being restored. So its possible. But my head says we are not quiet ready. With Thompson and more experience I reckon we will be favorites to win.
 
If we replicate last year then top 4 if we don’t and expect the wins to come to us then 6-8
 
I'm picking top 4. If CC can continue to have them singing off the same song sheet as last season, I don't see why not. Loss of harmony or a significant injury toll are the main things that can derail our top 4 charge this season.

I am not impressed with our signings. I am happy to eat my words, but if we are banking on 5'11 Tom Amone and a broken down Sitili Toupounoua then we have issues
This year we will no longer have the element of surprise
Others teams have strengthened their teams

Getting excited about this year. Seems to be less hype, but the boys seem supper fit and from the players we have let go across all grades it seems as a club we are not settling for mediocre, only NRL players and players that are capable of making the NRL.
 
If everything gets done right this improved line up could surprise a few teams 1-4 easy.
We will learn from 24' mistakes
 
After the preseason how confident are you in your prediction?
 
Yea I'd like to retract my vote of 1-4th and put it down in the 5th-8th. Cheers.
