I am going to speak of the positives,
Firstly well played TRIAL for a change...
Very impressed with our attitude in defense and options in attack !
Hughes, Faamasuli, Papalii, Xerri and Sexton impressed and deserves a special mention !
Overall some very good signs !

I loved his runs coming out of our own end. He makes good metres and gives the forwards a break. How good is it having a back that can hit it up like a forward ?

To be fair alomiti tried to just would drop the ball a bit I felt or make poor choices with it.

More impressed with defensive structure considering alomiti and average fellow both couldn’t defend at all.

Seems to be the only thing in his arsenal and he can't even get that right. No passing game unlike O'Neill.

We're never gonna be great until Burton is replaced at 6 by someone better. Papalii will eventually take over from Taaffe also. Has a bit more spark.

We could easily do without Burton and spend his big money better elsewhere

Burton is in a galaxy of player that average fellow never will be.

Further more this was simply about your comment of being the emo bitch you are complaining about us being easily impressed by fringe first graders.

The guys listed in my opinion stood out. When you say I’m easily impressed it’s an insult to your love child as average fellow only ever impressed in about 25% of the game!

It’s a trial. Both squads missing tons of fucking players. Take it for what it is and accept who looked great without being a fuckwit for once?

Curran and Mann will add more than Salmon at Lock, Wait t'ill you see their line speed and hits.

Kikau/Kiraz/Crighton/JAC can score points from nothing.

Just need forward pack to roll to get the space to play.

Decent start for first trial. Burto just looked awkward like most of last year. Hughes went well, and looks the goods. King looked gassed after 10 mins but kept going well. Taafe was solid but Papalii looked at least as good in that game. Knight should have to go without tonight after that performance. I'd still start Xerri in Cup for Rd1 but he showed he can get back to NRL quality IMO.
