He grew up there plus he was a Parra supporter all his life. Not saying he'd sign just on that basis but it does help. Plus money talks.
I'm sure we have the money to sign Galvin ...the storm have marquee spine players, and still manage to sign players, and retain quality players who can't make first grade

These are your exact words you fucken dumb ****:
'
'The way he runs the ball? So running around like a headless chook makes him good? Lol I swear people just see this sort of thing, and in their minds it translates to “that player is goooood”.

He’s clearly a talented kid, but he is getting more hype than is warranted. He might LOOK like he’s doing a lot, but in reality he’s just TRYING a lot. Call me when he is getting a lot of results.'
Congratulations for picking out the negative comments from the positive ones I posted.

You ask them for a replacement for Burton at the same money and they come up with nothing.
He’s on similar money to guys like Beooks, Hastings, Dodd. He’s on less than Wighton (similar actually as both have played centre and five eighth), Brimson and Gutho.

I guarantee if he was negotiating a contract right now, he’d get offers over a million.

What’s the difference between Galvin and Dylan Brown as teenagers who burst onto the NRL scene?

Anybody see the segment on 100% footy where Bracey said to Nathan Cleary in context of discussing Dylan Brown - "Gus wants to give you 2.5 (million)" Cleary responds "that'd be nice". Gus immediately threw him a pen and piece of paper nearly as quick as the words left Cleary's mouth :tearsofjoy:
But the paper came back blank....

Who’s to predict that Mitch Woods is our saviour at 7?
Well it's not us predicting it. It's Gus by fighting for his signature against AFL and rugby union he must see something and he's been around a few years let's hope it's one of his master strokes

Don't care a great deal what he does but it's interesting that so far he hasnt expressed a desire to hang around and play with Luai.

also this kid ain't worth a mil at least not yet.
Big chance Luai is the best half Galvin will play with for the rest of his career. Seeing as Galvin will go for big money, there isn’t really a way he will play with Cleary or Hughes.

Would be good of him to learn what he can from Luai.

Chammas believes Galvin is Gus’ end game. Galvin believes he can control a team. Gus has mended fences with Isaac Moses and has had Galvin signed to club once before already. The deal fell over at the final hurdle.
Gus looooves burto. Wonder what he's up to

Think he'll be every bit as good as people are predicting - question is how long it will take before that happens as most elite organising halves don't rise as quickly or as young as Cleary.

is Galvin as good as he's made out to be? I mean he's good, but Tigers did have the worst attack last year, and did look horrible in attack on the weekend against a team we pumped twice last year.

Absolutely no guarantee that Wood is our saviour. I think we re sign sexton for 1 year and then make a big play for Galvin come November. But that comes at a risk. If we don’t get his signature then we are stuffed.
