In 2006, I think, The Queensland Team Brought 8 new faces into their team which led to them producing great origin players in guys like dallas johnson, greg inglis, karmichael hunt, etc. I believe Stuart is doing something similar to a lesser extent in guys like uate, hopoate, dugan and soward. He has introduced youth into our backline. Curious to know who you guys think will be future, long term nsw origin (i mean future greats) players who have yet to debut. Name your top 5. :grinning:

For me, mine are:
1. Tariq Sims (a paul harrigon kind of player)
2. Shaun Fensom (a nathan hindmarsh kind of player)
3. Ryan James (a mark o'meley kind of player)
4. Simon Dwyer
5. Cameron King

For Qld, I believe the following 5 guys will be introduced in upcoming years:
1. Chris Sandow
2. Matt Srama
3. Matt Gillett
4. Aiden Guerra
5. Josh Papalii

I doubt Sandow is an origin type player and Guerra wouldnt be in first grade if the roosters where anywhere near full strength, i do agree with your NSW pics they are all guns

Barba should make his debut for QLD next year.

With Lockyer retiring, Thurston to 6, Cronk to 7 and Barba off the bench.

Tariq Sims could probably make the squad with little complaint now, that kids a gun

Ryan James is an absolute monster, love his play. I'd say those as well as Simon Dwyer and Will Hopoate, I know Hoppa has already made it now, but he's still very young and will be there for a long time if he comes back from his mission as good as he is now.

D10, you're expecting Ennis and Soward to be playing Origin at 34-35?

Even Uate is pushing it.

He is 10 times the player his big brother ever was. Great attitude. He even made the comment that he is ready to go for Origin if needed after the roosters game.
