We know we need props, clear as day. Thought our forwards did okay though for the most part though. Defended really well and looked a fair bit fitter than last season, game only really got away from us because we made so many dumb errors with the ball in hand and gave Manly so much good field position.

A new team coming together with 3 starting props out injured were always going to struggle against a full strength seasoned Manly side playing at Manly.

Last season we struggled to get out of our own half and that was with JJ & Vaughan, would they have really made a big difference ?

A player stupidly binned & 9 penalties to 4 when your top forwards are out just adds to the fatigue.

Let’s hope Gus can pull a rabbit out of his hat and find us a big metre eater prop.

Thompson is a genuine forward along with Max King

Vaughn should never have been let go, they have hung a lot of hope on TPJ firing this year but history suggests that won’t happen. If max king picks up a long term injury we will get another spoon.

We are very well covered in the backs from next year.....Xerri, Crichton, JAC, Kiraz, Skelton, Alamoti, Averillo

We will also be serviced well in the backrow with Kikau, Preston, RFM and quite possibly Skelton

Our forward pack is absolute junk apart from Thompson and Max King

All these niff nuffs shitting on Thompson are the same niff nuffs who consistently shat on Jackson, Graham, Tolman and so on
