Is Isaac Liu someone we should look at for the right price? Just noticed he's off contract. He comes from a successful system, experienced, decent carry with some late footwork and some sting in defence. Would still want a bigger forward signing to be made alongside him but I think there's some value with in him...we really need some NRL experience in our pack and I hope the club isn't just focusing on recruiting young players.

I always liked Liu, he is not the forward leader that we need but he brings a lot to the table and can fulfil a role we need for the right price. Strong, late footwork and a nice off load. He is like an experienced upgrade on Atoni. A few years back Liu went a whole season without making an error.

Our issue is our props apart from Thompson are mostly plodders. Atoni has good impact but only plays short stints( why is this is he unfit) ??? They don’t bend the line , they don’t get quick play the balls. The only other bloke who runs hard is Elliott. Maybe move him to prop and bring the likes of Doorey and Tapine into the back row. No sense in us carrying all these big boppers like Ogden and Napa and Hethrington who offer no go forward and slow play the balls anymore.

I think centre is a specialists position particularly in defence.. we have seen the result of make shift centre too much over the past 3-4 seasons..
