Forget Cronk - We have Frawley

Difference is we liked what we saw of MBye in other positions and hoped he would be equally good at half at the time. But Frawley looks more like a halfback in 1.5 games than MBye has his whole career.

Mbye and Reynolds are our future! Hodko's played his last game for the club (as far as I'm concerned) Des has to make the tough call and let him go. Today was the best attacking performance I've seen since 2012 and its no coincidence hodko didn't play in 2012. I know its a tough call for Des but one he has to make, his job and the teams performance depend on it.

Seeing mbye hit the goals from the sideline made hodko obsolete, not that he was kicking any good this year anyway

What stood out for me especially in the first half was the kicking it was spot on

Mbye/Reynolds 2016 has to be a certainty

Even if he does play well I can't see how Reynolds and Mbye won't be the halves. Hodko has had plenty of time to show his worth and has failed to do so.

What we need is to see more of Frawley. He has been outstanding, but lets temper it just a bit and consider that game 1 was in the rain and game 2 was against the knights.

Saying that, he looks so good so far. I really hope he can keep delivering like this, it is so refreshing to watch.

Foran maybe. Frawley has proven that he's a halfback and plays very similar to Cronk. Can't have two halfbacks in the team. If we sign Cronk then Frawley will sign elsewhere. We'll have Cronk for 1-2 season while Frawley will potentially go on to be another Thurston.

In 2 games Frawley has shown more than our halves in years. He's composed good kicking game takes the line on not afraid to take a hit. He will only get better.

Yeah i do agree mbye is definitely a ball runner and not an organiser, so yeah maybe he is just following the hasler plan this season and trying to be a number 7 which he clearly is not. I don't know, the guy seems down on form and confidence, i think a stint in reserves might do him some good, there is certainly nothing wrong with a bit of competition for that number 6 jersey though.

Agree 100 percent but I would rather take a punt on Frawley going forward than sticking with the absolute head fuck of the last two seasons
