I hope he gets the job and creates a hoodoo over the bulldogs for as long as he is there.

I reckon Folkes should get the NSW SOO coaching job. He will not be coaching any other team so he can focus on NSW, like QLD have done with Menninga.
What does everyone else think?

I agree that it would fit because he's NOT coaching at nrl level. I'm just not sure he'd get the job . I like your thinking though.

I am sure he has been offered it before and he declined due to bulldogs commitments

Good luck to Folkesy and I think his sort of style would suit Parramatta, a few of their team needs that sort of coach.. :grinning:

As for Anderson, there is issues as Parramatta just sacked his brother and apparently the whole family is none too happy about it.... they were talking about on Triple M last weekend.

As it has been said, the only loyal ppl in a club are the fans. And Hazem El Masri lol. Everything else is for sale. Folkes has to eat i guess, he has to apply for all vacancies, its not like there 100s of them in his field. But yeh it will be weird for him to be the Squeels coach.

i take your point completely, but having said that, Mason was so poor 'overall' this year, i don't think he'll be getting any favours on past glories anymore, he's gone now, completely schit

I think NSW actually want to win the series in the near future, so I doubt it :p

Folkesy off to the Carribian to be the strength & conditioning coach for the West Indies cricket team. That sounds tuff

So i wasnt tripping. I saw it on the news and thought i heard them say that, but it seemed weird. How does a career NRL coach become a cricket trainer? Hey if they pay him and he wants to, good luck to him. It could be a seachange that does him the world of good.
