Folau off contract again, at the end of 2015. Will he be our target?

Has Folau developed a passing game? If not I'd rather have Morris.

Why would he come back to Australia and miss out on banging the finest of European women while getting paid a bucket load of cash?

Then why did SBW come back?
I'm guessing that the Roosters offered him big dollars in league terms and that the NRL paid him a stupid amount of money for the privilege of doing that shitty SBWow advertising campaign that was run when he signed up to play league again. I don't think that it was because $BW felt bad about leaving league fans at all.

Coz SBW fancies himself as a superstar athlete that can win at everything and wants to. Also heard hes a pretty good bus driver.

Choc, it's pretty easy. If he doesn't sign you were wrong. If he does sign I will be wrong. He won't play for the Dogs and in the next couple of years you can make up a story as to why it didn't happen...how he 'nearly but for reason X' didn't come. Mate, if I had a dollar for every person on this forum who linked us with a big name player and said they 'had it on some good authority' I'd be a wealthier man than I am. Good luck with the rumour mill. I hope to see him in blue and white, but it WON'T happen.
I take it you aren't taking me up on a bet?
Never said he had signed. Read my post again. It really isn't that hard. A lot of players are discussed at board level. Some they pursue others they do not. To flatly deny any deal has been discussed as you have alerted to is very naive.

TBH I am over Mr Folau, sick of talking about him!! I believe if he does come back to the NRL then it will be the Horses. I know all his Family still live in Brisbane and that's where he started his NRL career via Waynee Pooh.

I will personally take a $10K bet with you witnessed by all on here that Folau NEVER plays for Canterbury. Seriously, this is old and been done a million times.

Why why why would Israel come back to a game that can't pay him anywhere near what rugby can, where he travels the world to play in places like Paris, London and Tokyo, plays half the number of games a year whilst getting paid a lot more to do it, doesn't get beaten up every game and actually plays in a legitimate world cup with a game where the business background means his after playing opportunities are pretty much limitless?
Swap all that for Campbelltown stadium on a Saturday night in the rain in front of 6000 fans? LOL. Come on - use your brain. Would YOU come back with that set of circumstances?
If Isreal decides he is interested in leaving the ARU to explore opportunities Boudjellal (owner of Toulon) will make sure the contract he is offered annually will be better than what Dan Carter was just offered ($2.2 million Australian plus endorsements) Let's see Davie Smith top that.
I love league. Am a dyed in the wool doggies fan and can't stand Union but we can't win the battle above unless money isn't an issue and like Foran just showed - it nearly always is.
As for you $10k bet I will bet you $100k that it has been discussed at board level this year in fact. But what would I know.

It would be the easiest $10K ever won.

In Rugby there is no salary cap, the Super XV comp takes the players to South Africa and New Zealand to play and the international tours are all class.

Why would any ex NRL Waratahs player want to come back to the NRL? It would be like moving from a Vaucluse mansion to a two bedroom fibro in the donga.

For cash. Just like Burgess left to play Union when he had next to no chance to play in the World Cup. The NRL said they will open the war chest to lure players back to NRL. Burgess especially was a set up,from the start

Just a little bit harsh a statement my friend. The way the game of Rugby is played these days, it makes them look like the poor causing which they are as far as entertainment goes. BORING!!

Well he's never won a premiership, but by time Olympics are over, he'll be like 27/28 if he was retuning to NRL.

I've got to agree with you there, but its boring at the senior executive level. It takes a certain amount of arrogance to get paid big bucks to bore us shitless.
