I really wanted him to work out, but in the end just didn't have what it took.
If you line him up physically against a Nathan Cleary, they're almost the same or Flanagan even better... but it shows that Rugby League still requires more than the physical. End of the day, you need the actual talent and I'm a strong believer that you're either born with it or not.

the more shit we went through this with whingeing, underperforming fuckwits, the more respect i had for flanno. Definitely didn't go the way he, or fans, wanted but at least he kept his shit together unlike some others.

The move to hooker has rejuvenated his NRL, career. Ciraldo did well to man manage Flanagun and get the best out of him.

its a little sad as he definitely had the bulldog attitude and mentality but the performance wasnt there, maybe had we put him at hooker a year earlier things may have been different.. hope he revives himself at the dragons with the old boy

Worst dogs recruit was Barrett, followed closely by his replacement. We could have gotten a lot more out of Kyle. I'm sure his dad will succeed where we failed.‘The Poaching’

I think he could develop into a decent hooker. Only had 1/2 season & did well in reserves. Did not get a chance in FG.

Having a coach who isn't a turnip will do him wonders. He was playing ok under Potter last year.
