Massive plus in our resurgence... Our boys looked like we had gas tanks strapped to our flanks. Last few years we were a 50/30 side but we are still making 1‰ plays in the back halves. We look like a top 8 side 4 months before the end of the season ffs.

Fitness was the key in this game. Tigers really hurt us with their speed and inside balls in the first half but we stepped up in the 2nd half and they looked gassed.

We are definitely more fit ! I look at our stats every week- we are running more metres than our opponents most weeks . We have incredible line speed in defence which is what Stephen Crichton highlighted has been the focus on the matty John’s show.

Not sure where to check these stats but we must be right up there with the intensity level in every game through the entire 80 minutes.

Tonight the boys defended set after set on our try line with a man in the bin TWICE!!! yet we showed no sign of fatigue or tiredness even after 40 misstackles.

We never looked this fit even back in Des days.
