OFFICIAL | PRE-GAME Finals Week 1 | vs Manly | 4:05pm Sunday @ Accor

Agree...We're all guilty of it to some degree but us fans really need to get some perspective about all this.

It seems obvious to me that him standing down has been a mutual decision. Gus would have had input and decisions made with our officials, coach and Josh himself.

If so then us supporters just need to accept the decisions made in the best interests of the club and players at this stage of the investigations. We are in good hands with issues like these and this is the way the club has consciously decided to handle it so we all need to also trust the process on this as well.
Thanks for the level headed response WD, agreed 100% excuse my frustrations I lack that articulation that you effortlessly put forth, the mob mentality, forum lynching of the bloke needs to come to a halt

we have a finals game to prepare for

So I assume if we play roosters it’s at Allianz stadium but what happens with the Penrith game? Wallabies and All Blacks are playing at Stadium Australia next Saturday. Dogs and Penrith at Penrith stadium, going to be missing out on 50k fans lol

1. Who says the Dogs would play Saturday? The NRL might make us play Friday.
2. If we play the Panthers the game will be at Commbank Stadium.
3. We need to worry about the Sea Eagles & not week 2.

But would you change a team that has got this far even if they lost the past 2 weeks?
Most definitely if it made the team better.
Too much dropped ball killed us last week but we have been bashed up the middle and need to add size.

We saved two of our worst performances for the final 2 weeks of the season. Add the drama with JAC there and there’s really only two things that will happen this Sunday

Either we come out with siege mentality and ambush Manly or we are going to cop an absolute shellacking

If skelton turns up then having the fox out could be a blessing in disguise. Kiraz and skelton on the wings could counteract manlys dominance through the middle with their early set runs in our half. Hopefully he's next to critta and defends better than last game though or it could be a long night

As long as Kiraz has no shoulder problems, we should be ok
Either way if they kick to either side the first hit up will be a big body.
Ado-Carr bulked up this year to have more impact off the first carry
We lose a bit of that left edge attack as he has that kick combo with Burton and he and had formed a combo with xerri this year.
We need to aim traffic around DCE and Olakau’atu (tire DCE and Olakau’atu has been found in defence)

Kiraz actually played left wing for a lot of the middle part of the season, with Fox out and Wilson on the right wing.

I have full faith he and Xerri will kill it that edge, with the size of Critta and Skelton on the right.

100% Xerri did most defending so Skelton just needs to have his back this could work.
CIRO will have a plan to tire these pricks out

Ambush manly that’s it

It was largely Mann and Hayward rotating at 13 that coincided with all that success. Not Salmon.

We needed to change things around. Manly beat us convincingly through the forwards. We needed more muscle this week. Todd/Hopoi/ Knight/ Farmasilly. Mann has been a significant loss. Hits hard around the middle and was putting pressure by darting downfield through tired forwards. Also a good ball distributor.
