yeah i understand that, but lets use the cowboys as an example, who have a poor track record in Sydney. they're pretty much disadvantaged for the second week.
I could be wrong - they're just my thoughts though.

oh you mean moving all games to sydney?...would not do that. i Just make it biggest stadium in the region. i.e. Cowboys, Broncs, Titans @ Suncorp: Warriors @ Eden Park: Storm @ Etihad

using the Cowboys as an example, will that 2nd week home final be played at Dairy Farmers though, or does it get played at the major venue of that team's state (Suncorp/ANZ/Allianz)?

they will probably play it at a bigger venue, depending on who they are playing

i.e if they are playing a Sydney team, they will probably play at Dairy Farmers, if they play a QLD team, they will switch to a bigger venue ( I think)

Week One
Friday = 2V3
Sat 1st = 1V4
Sat 2nd = 6V7
Sun = 5V8

Week Two
Fri = 3v7
Sat = 4V5

Week Three
Fri = 1v3
Sat = 2V4

Grand Final
Sat = 1V2

Captain Kickass said he was using the 2011 AFL model as an example. Also it doesn't what order you play the finals wk 1 in because the outcome is already set for the top 4 teams (loser gets a second chance) and the bottom 4 teams (loser gets eliminated)

Does anyone know which days each particular final is on?

Eg

Match 1 (1 V 4) on _____?
Match 2 (2 V 3) on _____?
Match 1 (5 V 8) on _____?
Match 1 (6 V 7) on _____?

Just trying to juggle work with my roster but I need to know which particular day we will play. Of course I am assuming (correctly) that we will finish in first place.

Friday or Sunday. I'm sure Saturday is for 5 v 6 and 7 v 8. I think Sunday is 1 v 4

That would be an absolutely epic way to kick off the Finals series.

1-4 should be dogs manly so yes ANZ
2-3 will be at melbourne
5-8 will likely be at dairy farmers
6-7 who knows

And the 4th final could easily be played in SE QLD. That will be a good mix geographically.

Does anyone know if our member tickets get us into the first round of the finals?
