With RFM gone that’s the last of 2021. Pretty crazy that we’ve flipped 30
Players in 3 years. Can’t remember any other team having a turnover this big in the past.

I think we'll be better for it aside from the fact it probably means we're not using the long serving player allowance.

Realistically who is the last of the deadwood now?

We need to get rid of players who cannot tackle effectively so for me Topine is the obvious one.

Sutton is a close call but he can make his tackles when fit.

We're still signing dead wood.

Does nobody seriously see a problem with such a burn rate?
Seriously?
With no development of players how exactly will we ever be anything other than an also ran finishing 14th to 17th?
How does one instill a Bulldogs culture or spirit if nobody lasts longer than 2 to 3 years?
Turnover burns culture. We don't have a next man up culture like Penrith. We buy the replacement.
Fans don't become rusted on if the faces keep changing.
Don't expect players to do anything more than turn up and play fair, to hold their hand out & collect their paycheque.
So called Bulldog culture is DEAD.

Its a huge issue. The transit lounge culture that were now famous for is a huge reason we now miss so many transfer targets that once upon a time wouldve been straight forward kills and straight in the net. Both high and low profile players weve attempted to shop around regularly. Player managers are very aware that client stability is not something guaranteed anymore when coming to Belmore. Far from it. No one wants to be shopped around within 6 months of a multi yr contract like many of our boys were in the last couple yrs

Well, being loyal to the deadwood hasn't exactly been kind to us.

Its hardly an achievement when its replaced with more dead wood
Every signing we've done except for Critta has been released or unsigned by their previous clubs. We are just looking for quick fix upon quick fix signing recycled players. It's a revolving door.

Peter Moore saw what was happening in 1989 and made the changes to rebuild our culture and mentality.
