Whoever belives brown is better then burton deserves a hammer to the head where was brown in the finals last year
Really!
He played @ 7( not his natural position) & was shoehorned into the position due to Moses being injured most of the year..
Parra had way more problems than him playing 7 that contributed to them not making the semis..
The reason why Burto gets hate on TK is because he has a few deficiencies in his game (refer to my previous post) I wish he took the line on more, especially close to the tryline,he's capable ,but we rarely see it..

Burton smashes him all
Over the park and would run right over him with his size 12 boot

Whatever your opinion on Brown is, I doubt he's on our radar. I think the Burton/Sexton combination will serve us well. And We've gone hard with importing promising young halves as well.

I generally only see Parra play when they're taking us on, so I don't have an opinion on Brown. But I recall people saying he was overweight and lazy not so long ago. Unless there's another overweight lazy Brown that was an eel in recent times.

But it's not atypical that people's opinions of players rise when they go to market.

Brown is good but not our material red flags GUS won’t deal with players especially from Isaac Moses he loves his clauses and we don’t have clauses in them that’s why GUS has pulled away from his clients.

And I think we need Burtons boot and his connection with Penrith CIRO AND GUS connection with Penrith will go a long way.

Dylan brown can go to the Tigpies and get his million dollors!!

How many games did we win with him even if was by one point from a sideline drop goal or how many times has Burton got us out of shit with his boot and made the opponent work harder every game!!!

Sexton and Burton will serve us well!!!

Sam walker even he walks over Dylan walker sorry but Sam walker from the roosters is a freak number 7 he played next to sexton for years and I think and know sexton is only going to get better!!! And better

brown is better then burton in most aspects of the game just doesn't have the kicking side of the game that burton has
Brown is Moses's sidekick and is about as useful as tits on a bull without him.

I could have understood your argument at the same time last year, but Burton had a fantastic year, and this season is going to be even better. He finished last year on more Dally M points than any other five eighth, including Dearden. He was by far and away our most influential attacking player last year. He is a dominant half, an origin rep, Kangaroo tourist and in all likelihood a future starting 6 for the Blues. He smokes Brown, especially if you factor in his kicking game, which is a vital tool for any elite half, no matter how much some people on here want to undervalue it.

It never ceases to amaze me how much the Kennel uinderrates our best and most important player. Brown has had the benefit of playing behind a much bigger pack and alongside one of the better halves in the comp and he still can't outshine Burton. Not to mention he's a total grub of a bloke.

well last season Brown had 18 try assists in a shit parra team that had no moses for majority of the season compared to Burton's 13...

I'd still have Burton over Brown due to his kicking game

You never cease to amaze me with the consistency of your shit takes. Brown better than Burton. Fucking lol
Burton is much better than Brown and our most valuable player is Burton ahead of Crichton and Mann.

Anyone who thinks Gould won’t be in the mix to sign Brown is crazy.

It's not a huge difference.... especially considering Ciraldo openly concedes he spent most of the year working on our d and didn't even bother much with attack into well over halfway into the season. Half play isn't all about throwing the last pass, either. And as I said before, kicking game is a huge asset for a half and am important part of the package. People make out kicking is all Burton has, and that's just not true.

Burto is a better player and a better bloke. A bit of a dopey country bumkin, maybe. But at least he knows how to keep his hands to himself.

Of course we have donkeys on here that think Burton is better than Brown :tearsofjoy:
He does nothing week in week out, he has a vg game from time to time plays outside the best current half in the NRL if he was as good as some knuckleheads on here say he would stand out in games a lot more than he does wouldnt he? Moses does everything that should make him look like an immortal !

Plot twist: You have actually been the donkey all along.

Do a poll of NRL coaches as to who they would rather have on their roster. I don't think many would be choosing Brown.

Hatters gonna hat.
