Have to comment on Cook. If not for Kasiano, Cook was MOM. I for one called for Cook to play during the lead up week. Many other Kennellers said his selection was a smokescreen and Jacko would play Hooker. Cook is a young man going places. Lichha has been reliable during the season, especially in defence, but honestly, would he have scored the Cook try or been quick enough to chase and bat the ball back for the try from the chargedown - NO!!!!

Cooks composure, his quick clean ball and the threat of him from dummy half made us look a yard or two quicker tonight. He was constantly looking for lazy/offside markers to have a dart. Souths were good in defence but still leaked bigtime. Another kenneller during the week suggested Des has 2 gameplans - 1 for the regular season and another for end of season. We played tough finals footy tonight and were never going to be beaten. Im going to say I consider Cook is our X factor going into the finals. This was our best game of the season. The boyz must be rapt how they went. This is our new benchmark.

Stats are great if your a computer.. kas may not have the most metres gained or tackles made but some of the plays he made last night were outstanding and crucial to our role on.. and that's why he was a stand out mom.
