 funny stuff, was wondering if the boys were back this week.SO do we get any signing news this week maybe??? hope so because reading through some of the threads lately that have now stooped to bickering and belligerence is fucking annoying.
Maybe Burto gets released this week? OR we sign Brandon Smith? Momoriovski? one or all of these please, JAC might take a while longer to sort im guessing.
Cheese must be close re: making a decision surely and Momo well i think he would be a decent get.

Players/Coaches returned today.
Exec/Staff next Monday.
Accordingly I doubt any announcements this week.
Not sure if Zap back this week to publish any content from training or whether that’s from next week too.

I know some people think the team had a fitness problem last season.
I just hope Barrett realises the GF is in October or something.
And the way he is working them, they might just capitulate like Roosters did.

Supposedly there's a lot of science behind their approach. I'd assume that would incorporate factors like fatigue etc into the equation. Baz has arrived from a system that kept the squad looking pretty fresh for the bulk of last year. So burnout doesn't worry me overly.

Robinson "the great" and the Chooks managed to farked it up badly last year, proving that "the science" isn't always locked in. Plus our coaching staff don't have a great deal of one on one experience with the players, those sorts of relationships fill in the gaps that the science misses.

Another reason for the poor end of season for the roosters was the form of Cordner and jwh. Cordner,s concussion s probably affected him. I also have the view that the arrival of sbw may have affected morale. He didn't perform as expected yet was automatically selected ahead of players who had done the work all year. Doesn't help in a team sport.

We were the most unfit team since Pay took over

Baz needs to get them as fit af so we don’t fade out in games and start converting close losses in the W column

Nah.
There is alot of work to do.
We need every advantage. Last 3 years club failed to nail fitness which was the one thing we had power to so regardless of talent.
Anyways, it shows dedication, professionalism, to go the extra mile. Makes me proud. Last 3 years we heard talk, this is action.
If they dont make the 8 so be it. At least their having a crack. Anways, fuck the roosters. No comparrison.
Im sue we will see positives for all the work theyre putting in, cant ask for more than that.
