A great win for the Bulldogs Jersey Flegg over St George Illawarra Dragons at Win Stadium.

In terrible conditions the couragous Bulldogs held onto win 12-8 over the higher seeded Dragons in today's preliminary semi final. Rain and a southerly gale that blew dogs off chains turned the game into a real battle royal and every Bulldogs player stood up to the task.

The support of all the Bulldogs heirachy was there behind the young 'Dogs and they were not let down. Coach Andrew Patmore was a very proud man after the match with the effort from his team.

Special mentions to second rower Nathan Armit, fullback Issac Luke and centre David Te Huia. Nathan Armit's two conversions from out wide ended up the difference in what could be discribed as horrendice kicking conditions.

The Bulldogs will now play the Sydney Roosters next weekend.

We have 2 actually, Te Maari who we have bought was kicking them superbly against us in PL and now Armit in JF can kick too very nicely....

Big advantage as backup, its just adding to our depth....
